Coroner IDs Pedestrian Killed In Lakeland Village
The 65-year-old man died in the 18200 block of Grand Avenue.
LAKELAND VILLAGE, CA — A 65-year-old pedestrian who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Lakeland Village this week was publicly identified Wednesday by the coroner's office.
Angel Molina of Lake Elsinore was hit at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday in the 18200 block of Grand Avenue. He was pronounced dead in the roadway moments later, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau.
During its investigation of the deadly crash, the California Highway Patrol tracked the alleged driver to a nearby address on Adelfa Street.

Arturo Swadener, 66, was questioned by CHP officers and confessed to hitting the man with his 2004 Nissan Titan truck, which was parked in front of his home, according to the CHP.
Swadener was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and was cooperating with officers, according to the CHP. He was not injured in the crash.
