County Calls For Lake Elsinore Volunteers For Recycling Classes

"The ideal volunteer enjoys meeting people, likes to learn new things and is passionate about the environment."

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Officials with the Riverside County Department of Waste Resources are looking for volunteers from across the county to help teach others about recycling and composting.

"Outreach volunteers assist with classes or events by interacting with the public, answering questions on outreach programs and distributing materials," officials said in a news release Wednesday. "The ideal volunteer enjoys meeting people, likes to learn new things and is passionate about the environment."

Those who volunteer must attended a two-hour orientation meeting and pledge to commit to four hours of volunteer time each quarter of the year.
