Fire Reported In Wildomar

Fire crews were sent to the scene of the fire Friday afternoon.

WILDOMAR, CA — Riverside County Fire Department crews battled a house fire in Wildomar on Friday afternoon, the agency reports. The blaze was reported at 12:53 p.m. in the 2400 block of Olive Street.

"The first arriving engine company reported smoke coming from a double wide residence," Fire Spokeswoman Tawny Cabral said.

Twenty firefighters from five engine companies were sent to the scene and had the fire contained within about 90 minutes, according to Cabral.

"Firefighters located and contained the fire to the attic of the residence," she said. "Firefighters will remain on scene for approximately 90 minutes performing salvage and overhaul."

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
