Four People Killed In Major Overnight Riverside County Crash
A fifth person was hospitalized in critical condition following the wreck, officials said.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Four people were killed in a four-vehicle crash in Riverside County and one other person was hospitalized, authorities said Wednesday. The crash happened around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Jurupa Valley area.
According to fire and sheriff's officials, the wreck occurred at the intersection of Van Buren Boulevard and 56th Street.
Four people died at the scene and one other person was taken to a hospital in critical condition, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.

It was unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, according to sheriff's officials.. Van Buren Boulevard was closed until Wednesday morning as a result.
Coroner's officials were set to release the names of the victims upon notification of next of kin.
