Man Found Dead On RivCo Bench Identified

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Riverside County sheriff's officials are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered on a bench this week. He's since been identified as 25-year-old Manuel Kittleson of Ontario, the coroner's office said Friday.

Sheriff's officials said they were called Thursday to the 1500 block of Limonite Avenue in the city of Eastvale around 8:40 a.m.

"Cal-Fire personnel arrived prior to deputies and found a 25-year-old male Eastvale resident deceased on a bench in front of a business," the sheriff's department said in a news release.

It wasn't clear exactly how long Kittleson had been deceased, according to the sheriff's department, which was investigating the nature of his death.

The area was cordoned off Thursday by detectives looking for potential evidence, prompting the closure of four stores for about two hours
