Man Hits Head After Jumping Onto Moving Car In Perris
Sheriff's officials say the man was rushed into surgery after suffering major head injuries.

PERRIS, CA — A man who tumbled from a moving car that he jumped onto while arguing with his girlfriend at a Perris intersection was in serious condition Thursday, according to authorities. The confrontation happened about 6 p.m. Wednesday at Crystal Creek and Murrieta roads, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
"The investigation revealed the male subject had been in a verbal altercation at the intersection with his girlfriend, who was driving a vehicle," sheriff's officials said in a news release. "The male jumped onto the vehicle as his girlfriend drove off."
The man, who was not identified, subsequently fell off the vehicle and hit his head on the ground, officials said.

"The male suffered major injuries and was transported to a local hospital and taken into surgery," the news release stated.
The woman, who was not identified, immediately stopped the car and called 911.

"The driver did not sustain any injuries, was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and was cooperative with the investigation," officials said.
