Marijuana Raids, Drug Bust Reported Inside Lake Elsinore Homes

Raids on illegal marijuana grows continue across the city.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Raids on three illegal marijuana grows inside Lake Elsinore homes took place last week, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

On Thursday, raids were conducted in the Alberhill community of Lake Elsinore, which uncovered indoor marijuana grows at two homes on Ladrillo Street, the sheriff's department reported. Another search warrant was served the same day in the 41000 block of Sunsprite Street, resulting in one arrest.

At the Sunsprite property, 52-year-old Vu Tan Le was taken into custody on suspicion of illegal cultivation of marijuana after an undisclosed number of cannabis plants were seized and it was confirmed that the "electrical system within the residence had been illegally altered, causing a severe fire hazard" to support the grow, Warrington alleged.
