Multi-Vehicle Crash Causes Injury, Briefly Blocks I-15 In SWR
Two sedans collided in the fast-lane, causing a spinoff crash involving three other vehicles, according to the CHP.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — One person was hurt Monday in a five-vehicle collision that brought all southbound traffic to a halt on southbound Interstate 15 in Lake Elsinore.
The crash was reported at 3:45 p.m. near the Railroad Canyon Road exit ramp from southbound I-15, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived within 10 minutes and found one victim with moderate injuries, while other parties appeared to be shaken but not hurt, according to reports from the scene.
CHP officers temporarily shut down all southbound lanes for emergency personnel and to clear the wreckage.

As of 4 p.m., at least one lane was unobstructed and in use.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
