Railroad Canyon Widening Latest: Paving to Begin Soon

Plus, the latest projections for completion of this large project.

(City of Lake Elsinore)

From The City of Lake Elsinore: For the last several weeks, contractors have been able to resume regular work and have made significant progress following months of ongoing rain delays. Latest estimates for completion are approximately seven weeks.

Last week, contractors completed the remaining 4,600 linear feet of curb and gutter along the Westbound side of Railroad Canyon Rd. Next up, the contractor must complete some remaining drainage basins and begin paving.

At this time, no weekend work is expected. Night work is expected later this month.
