Riverside County Man Allegedly Kills Father During Family Fight
Mark Pagay was arrested on suspicion of murder after he allegedly attack 54-year-old Roy Pagay.

CORONA, CA -- A 19-year-old Corona man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stabbing his father to death during a quarrel.
Mark Pagay was arrested on suspicion of murder after he allegedly attack 54-year-old Roy Pagay at the latter's home in the 1700 block of Camino Largo Street, near Via Zumaya Street, on the southeastern edge of Corona.
The suspect was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, where he's being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

According to Corona police Sgt. Chad Fountain, the deadly confrontation occurred about 9:20 a.m.
Fountain alleged that Mark Pagay armed himself with a large knife and plunged it into his father. Why the two men were arguing was not disclosed.
Officers were summoned by witnesses and found the elder Pagay gravely wounded. Fountain said the victim was taken to Riverside Community Hospital, where he died a few hours later.

The suspect was questioned by detectives and taken into custody without a struggle.
He has no documented prior felony convictions in Riverside County.
