Riverside County Man Suspected Of Northern California Auto Theft

RIVERSIDE, CA -- A Riverside man was arrested Thursday afternoon on suspicion of stealing a vehicle from the El Cerrito Plaza BART station and crashing it nearby in Albany, according to the BART Police Department.

Around 2:45 p.m. officers with the Albany Police Department arrested 29-year-old Daniel Huerta after he crashed the allegedly stolen vehicle into some parked cars.

Huerta was booked into the county jail on suspicion of auto theft and the collision investigation was turned over to Albany police.
