Semi Truck Rolls Off I-15 Near Wildomar: CHP

WILDOMAR, CA — A semi-truck crashed off the side of Interstate 15 near Lake Elsinore and Wildomar on Monday morning, traveling an estimated 50 feet down an embankment before coming to a rest, the California Highway Patrol reports.

According to preliminary CHP logs, the crash happened around 9 a.m. along the southbound side of the freeway, near Bundy Canyon Road. The truck, which was hauling dirt, landed on its roof.

The driver was hurt in the incident, but was able to pull themselves free, reports indicated. An ambulance was called to the scene.
