Traffic Stop Leads To Stolen Gun In Lake Elsinore: Deputies
The suspect had a felony record, as well, and was charged with being in alleged illegal possession of the weapon, officials said.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A Lake Elsinore resident, pulled over last week during a traffic- enforcement operation in the unincorporated Lakeland Village community in Lake Elsinore, was subsequently arrested for weapons-related charges, according to authorities.
Deputies from the Lake Elsinore station at 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday stopped and arrested Shaun Murillo, 38, for suspicion of possession of a stolen firearm, being a felon in possession of a firearm and allegedly operating an unregistered vehicle, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.
Murillo was booked in the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta, deputies said.
