'Well-Involved' Fire Reported At Lake Elsinore Home

Crews remained at the scene for more than two hours to ensure the blaze was fully out.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A fire ripped through a vacant Lake Elsinore house late Sunday night and the cause is under investigation, fire officials reported Monday.

The fire was reported at 11:25 p.m. Sunday in the 32000 block of Oak Knoll Lane, Riverside County Fire Department officials said. That's near Grand Avenue and Corydon Road.

When crews from five engines got to the scene the residence was "well involved with fire," officials reported. Crews remained at the scene for more than two hours to ensure the blaze was fully out.

The house was 1,200-square-feet in size, officials said.
