Woman Run Off RivCo Street In Act Of Road Rage: CHP

The motorist was unable to get out of her vehicle, and firefighters were called to help free her.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A woman whose car crashed Monday in Mead Valley told authorities she was run off the road by the driver of an SUV in a possible act of road rage.

The crash occurred about 4:25 p.m. in the area of Gavilan Road and Multiview Drive, about a mile east of Lake Mathews, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to the CHP, the unidentified victim called 911 immediately after her vehicle skidded down an embankment, reporting that she was forced off of Multiview Drive by the driver a white SUV. No other details about the encounter were disclosed.

The motorist was unable to get out of her vehicle, and a Riverside County Fire Department crew was sent to the location to assist in freeing her from the car, according to reports from the scene.

Paramedics assessed the woman and determined she was not injured.

Officers searched the area for the alleged assailant, but no matching vehicle was found.

The victim's car was removed from the location by tow truck.
