LAKE FOREST, CA — Two teenage boys fled a Walmart in Orange County after being seen on video riding e-bikes down store aisles, KTLA reported.
The June 7 incident happened at a Foothill Ranch Walmart in 26502 Towne Center Drive and involved two boys, around 15 or 15 years old, the report said.
According to the report, the boys rode their e-bikes through the aisles, with video showing the duo running from one customer inside the store, who also appeared to be on a scooter.
The incident is the latest in e-bike-related havoc in Orange County. Last month, a violent attack out of Orange County drew nationwide attention when video of a man being attacked by a mob of teenagers on e-bikes near the Huntington Beach pier emerged.
In March, a group of teens on e-bikes tried to run down a Black student at University of California, Irvine, police said.
According to police, the incident involved multiple teens on e-bikes hurling racial slurs at the student and spitting. One of the suspects injured the back leg of the victim with the tire of an e-bike.
