One More Week Of Intense Heat Forecasted In Lake Forest

Lake Forest residents can expect more blistering temperatures this week and a chance of thunderstorms late into the weekend.

LAKE FOREST, CA — Lake Forest residents will not get much of a reprieve from the heat until this weekend, according to an extended heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service Monday.

The excessive heat advisory was extended until Friday, according to a NWS report, as inland Orange County gets scorched by an ongoing late-summer heat wave that ushered in triple-digit temperatures starting last week.

On Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures in Lake Forest will drop from the triple digits to the low-'90s, according to Accuweather.
