10-Year-Old Boy Killed After Being Hit By Car While Riding Bike
A 10-year-old boy was killed Tuesday afternoon after he was hit by a car on Merriewood Drive.
LAFAYETTE, CA – A 10-year-old boy was killed Tuesday afternoon after he was hit by a car on Merriewood Drive.
Just before 1 p.m., Lafayete Police responded to a collision between a person riding a bicycle and a delivery vehicle in the 500 block of Merriewood Drive.
The boy was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said. He is not being identified at this time.

The driver of the vehicle cooperated with police and has been interviewed, police said.
