High Tea and Hair-Do's: Moraga-Style
Locals know Cathy Corsi's Si Si Caffe in Moraga is a one-stop shop: a place where you can get your hair done, meet with friends, and grab a coffee and a muffin on your way out. Recently, Corsi added another dimension to her service offering.
We're not sure if it's the influence of the Royal Wedding Madness which seemed to sweep the Republic recently, but Moraga business owner Cathy Corsi decided to hold a high tea at her Country Club Drive location recently - and had no problem attracting guests.
"It was quite the affair," said Cathy, always on the lookout for something new and fun to do. "It was a perfect day and we did it out in our patio. We had 16 ladies come to the tea."
Now, it may not have been tea at the Savoy - or even at The Badger, a little place we once found and fell in love with in the Cottswalds, but for Moraga it was pretty good and the guests had a good time, grateful for an excuse to dress up a little and don floppy sun hats.

Cathy said Monday she plans to do another tea soon.
If she can get some clotted cream and scones, we're in.
