AGWP played against Doherty Valley High today at Doherty with a winning result of 14-3. Leading in goal scoring was Emma Gaffney with 3. Hannah Kresnak, Ellyn Stewart, and Emma Myall each scored 2 apiece. Mija Pritchard scored 1, as did Maddy Stewart, Sabrina Elliot and Nicole Jackson. Lucy Fellner had 7 saves.
It was Senior night at Doherty Valley, where their team acknowledged the efforts of their senior girls. And I was touched to see the Doherty Ladies also acknowledge the senior girls from Acalanes. It was a lovely gesture by Doherty and much appreciated by the Acalanes players and their parents. Nice job ladies!
Acalanes will play their final league game next week against Campo.
