Traffic Advisory: Malfunctioning Traffic Signal Stalls Lamorinda Commute

The morning commute, dodgy at the best of times, became a monumental pain in the neck Thursday after a traffic signal at Moraga Way and Glorietta Blvd. failed - leaving hundreds of motorists hankering for a helicopter airlift to work.

Patch Militia member "Magnus" wrote that the light in front of Miramonte High School is also down and traffic is backing up on Moraga Way.

"Expect a 40 minute delay from Moraga to the freeway," Magnus wrote.

Yay!

Police are on the scene and attempting to untangle the mess.
