Election Update Shows Kunhardt Wins Corte Madera Council Seat
David Kunhardt appears to have defeated Valeria Sasser by 15 votes for the third council seat, according to the latest results.

CORTE MADERA, CA – An update late Wednesday afternoon to the June 5 primary election results further confirms Supervisor Judy Arnold won the Fifth District contest against Toni Shroyer by 616 votes.
Arnold needed 50 percent of the vote plus one vote to avoid a runoff with Shroyer in November and she received 51.89 percent.
Deputy District Attorney Lori Frugoli still faces a November runoff election with former federal attorney Anna Pletcher in the contest for Marin County District Attorney. Frugoli has 48.92 percent of the vote but also needs 50 percent plus one vote to avoid a runoff with Pletcher. Frugoli leads Pletcher by 13,443 votes.

In the Corte Madera Town Council election, Eli Beckman and Bob Ravasio were reelected to two of the three seats and David Kunhardt appears to have defeated Valeria Sasser by 15 votes for the third council seat,
according to the latest results.
Wednesday's update includes 100 percent of the unofficial count in the Fifth District and Corte Madera Town Council races. There are 1,000 provisional ballots to count countywide, Marin County Registrar of Voters

Lynda Roberts said. The update by 5 p.m. Friday will include 100 percent of the unofficial count.
Voter turnout so far is 55 percent, Roberts said.
The Marin County Registrar of Voters office has until July 5 to certify and report the final election results to the California Secretary of State.
