The next update on the election will be Wednesday.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Marin County Deputy District Attorney Lori Frugoli remains well ahead of Anna Pletcher, a former federal attorney, in the race for Marin County District Attorney, according to updated election results released Friday afternoon.

Frugoli, however, has only 49.26 percent of the vote and would need 50 percent plus one vote to win outright and avoid a runoff against Pletcher in November, according to election officials.

Frugoli leads Pletcher by 7,874 votes. Pletcher has 29.60 percent of the vote. Deputy District Attorney A.J. Brady is behind Pletcher with 20.9 percent.
