Blaze Destroys 4 Apartments, 3 Cars In Livermore
The fire displaced 35 residents. An early estimate of the damage is $2 million dollars.

LIVERMORE, CA — An apartment fire in Livermore Tuesday morning displaced 35 residents, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department officials said. The two-alarm fire, which was reported in the 2300 block of Chestnut St. at 9:44 a.m., destroyed four apartments, three cars, and a carport.
One firefighter was injured and a citizen was evaluated at the scene for the smoke-related medical complaint, according to fire officials. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
Fire officials said the American Red Cross has established a temporary emergency shelter for residents displaced by the fire at the Robert Livermore Community Center, located at 4444 East Avenue in Livermore.
