LIVERMORE, CA — The California Highway Patrol is seeking witnesses who observed a fatal, multi-vehicle crash on eastbound I-580 Thursday morning at around 7 a.m.

The crash took place east of North Livermore Avenue and involved a grey Nissan Armada, a semi-truck with no trailer, and a gray Toyota Tundra that overturned, according to a CHP Dublin news release. The semi-truck continued driving eastbound without stopping at the scene, CHP said.

A SigAlert was issued, and the right four lanes of traffic on eastbound I-580 were shut down for approximately three hours Thursday morning.

Anyone with information on the crash and the semi-truck that left the scene is asked to contact CHP Dublin 825-828-0466, and ask for Officer Ryland or Officer Purl.
