Lockdown At Livermore High School Lifted
The precautionary shelter in place order was issued by the principal.

LIVERMORE, CA: A shelter in place order issued for the staff and students at Livermore High School has been lifted, according to school officials. Officials say the temporary lockdown was put in place as a precautionary measure following a shelter in place order at Granada High earlier in the day. The lockdown at Granada was issued at about 8:30 a.m. after school officials were alerted to a possible campus safety threat on or near the campus.
All classes have resumed as normal.
Livermore High Principal Vicki Scudder issued a statement at 1: 45 p.m., saying that, "Our District has advised us to have an increased police presence on the LHS campus as an extra safety precaution."
The statement continued: "To ensure student and staff safety, Livermore High School is also going into a temporary Shelter in Place this afternoon until we receive an all clear from the Livermore Police Department."
The lockdown came on the same day that Granada High School was ordered to shelter in place.
