Central Park Plan Proponents To Pull Initiative
Central Park Plan organizers have resolved to withdraw their initiative and will not sue the city.

LIVERMORE, CA — Supporters of the public-designed Central Park Plan for downtown Livermore have committed to withdrawing a ballot initiative that seeks to significantly change the city's downtown plan.
The announcement comes on the heels of the passage of Measure P. Livermore voted to advance the Wine Country hotel at the Bankhead Project and reject concerns from supporters of the Central Park Plan.
Bill Dunlop, chair of Citizens for a Livermore Central Park, said in a statement that organizers have participated in mediated meetings with the city over the past six and believe they have found common ground, as The Independent first reported.
