Livermore Gas Leak Prompts Road Closure

LIVERMORE, CA — A possible gas leak has prompted police to close South H between Seventh and Eighth streets in Livermore this afternoon, police officials said. The leak was reported at 1:16 p.m., according to the Pulsepoint phone application.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area as the road will be closed for the next several hours. No home are threatened and no evacuations have been ordered. PG&E and Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department crews have responded to investigate. No other information is available.
