Livermore Business Owner Thanks Community in Wake of Harrowing Fire: 'We Are Back in the Saddle'
Miller's Air Conditioning & Heating is moving to a new location following a devastating fire in their building earlier in July.
LIVERMORE, CA — It could have potentially put them out of business. Less than two weeks after a devastating fire gutted a heating, ventilation and air conditioning business in Livermore, the owner says he and his team will soon be moving into a new building.
“Everything was burned to a crisp,” Miller told Patch. “It was like a part of me.”
Larry Miller, longtime owner of Miller's Air Conditioning & Heating says he wants to thank the community for the outpouring of support since the crippling fire.

Miller, whose business has occupied the building since around 1977, says he has always tried to take care of his customers. After the fire, he saw first hand that the old saying, “what comes around, goes around” is really true.
“The support and help of the customers, vendors and Livermore has been overwhelming,” Miller said.

According to Miller, after the fire, his staff made a list of things they needed to do to move forward. First on the list was to get a new building.
Miller says the business will be moving to 4749 Bennett Drive, Suite N in Livermore. Amazingly, despite the chaos following the blaze, Miller’s team members have been working and taking calls via their answering service.
On July 12, firefighters responded at 11:53 p.m. to Miller's Air Conditioning & Heating. The business was a total loss. The massive fire was deemed suspicious because of the amount of damage and the time of the day the fire started, fire officials said.
Livermore Police officials are not able to comment as the investigation is still active.
“We appreciate the love and support,” Miller said. “We are back in the saddle.”
