LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore has appointed Tina Olson, Pleasanton’s former director of finance, as its new Director of Administrative Services Department, the city announced in a news release. She will start her new position March 14.
Olson has served a total of 30 years in city government, the city said. She served as Pleasanton’s director of finance since 2015. Before that, Olson worked for the City of Pittsburg as Director of Finance and Administration, and a variety of finance positions for the City and County of San Francisco, including Deputy Director of Finance and Administration for the Port of San Francisco.
Olson will oversee the city’s finance, human resources, city clerk, cybersecurity and information technology divisions, and report directly to the city manager.
