Low-Income Apartments In Livermore: Application Period Opens

The application period for 35 new units at Ageno Apartments on Westwind Street opens Sept. 2 and closes Sept. 11.

LIVERMORE, CA — The application period for new affordable rental housing in Livermore is set to open Monday, Sept. 2, the city announced.

Ageno Apartments, located at 1055 Westwind St., is a 171 unit complex, and 35 of the one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments will be offered at an affordable rent to households earning between 40-50 percent of the area median income. Rents are estimated to be between $930 and $1,611, according to the city.

The application period ends Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019 at 5 p.m.

A lottery will be held to ensure a random and equal opportunity to everyone who submits an application during the acceptance period, the city said.

Applications can be downloaded on the city’s website or may be picked up at the temporary leasing office at 1055 Westwind St., #155, between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Applications received before September 2, 2019 or after 5 p.m. on September 11, 2019 will not be considered, according to the city. All applications, including by mail, must be received at the temporary leasing office during the specified period.
