2 Displaced In Livermore House Fire
The fire was reported shortly before midnight and caused significant damage to the home, firefighters said.

LIVERMORE, CA — A couple was displaced after a house fire in the 1800 block of Pine Street reported late Thursday night.
There were no injuries reported in the fire, according to the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department.
The single-floor, single-family home was almost completely totaled, LPFD said. The cause is under investigation, but the fire is believed to have originated in the garage, as the garage was completely engulfed in flames.

There was heavy damage to the kitchen and living room, and heat and smoke damage in the hallway toward the back of the home.
Firefighters protected neighboring homes.

A video posted Friday morning by LPFD shows smoke billowing out of the home's windows. A car in the front of the house was ablaze.
Firefighters cut a hole in the roof above the living room during their efforts to ventilate.
