Bomb Threats Force USC Evacuations
Authorities evacuated the University of Southern California's Grace Ford Salvatori Hall, Sample Hall and Wallis Annenberg Hall.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Several fake bomb threats targeting the University of Southern California Thursday evening forced the evacuations of Grace Ford Salvatori Hall, Sample Hall and Wallis Annenberg Hall.
As a precaution, authorities searched the campus to assess the threat. The university reported the bomb threat at about 4:30 p.m., and within an hour Los Angeles Police Department officials cleared the buildings, determining the threat was not credible.
LAPD and DPS have determined the evacuated buildings are safe. Grace Ford Salvatori Hall, Sample Hall and Wallis Annenberg Hall have been reopened. Normal business has resumed.
