“50 YEARS AGO, in 1976, two brothers from the little town of Litchfield, Illinois, packed up their dreams and headed west to Hollywood. Those two brothers were Rex and me! What an incredible musical journey it's been! From our early days playing together in the Midwest to performing on stages around the world, we've been blessed to make music with some of the greatest entertainers in show business. Between the two of us, that list includes 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢 & 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐋𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬, 𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐏𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐞, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐬, and jazz greats 𝐄𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐬, 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧 — just to name a few!”, said Robby Robinson. “But through all the concerts, recording sessions, television appearances, and miles on the road, I have to say it's been super-cool to share so much of that journey with my brother. This Monday, Rex joins me for a special Jam' n Java as we look back on 50 years of memories, music, laughter, and probably a few stories we haven't told before! We'll share some vintage photos, videos, and memories from a lifetime of making music. And who knows what else we'll dig up!
Robby and Rex have both been musically active with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Rex was a member of the Four Seasons for 20 years and Robby is quickly approaching 50 years as the keyboard player and Music Director for Frankie Valli. Rex is a highly regarded jazz artist and has worked with countless music artists. Robby and Rex have both appeared on national television and toured the world multiple times, but always make time to return to their childhood home of Litchfield, IL to raise money for charitable causes, including St. Francis Hospital.
