Diversity News Magazine has released its Summer 2026 Special Edition, putting Los Angeles community leader and advocate Bamby Salcedo, President & CEO of The TransLatin@ Coalition, on the cover.
The special edition recognizes Salcedo’s work in advocacy, visibility, inclusion, and community empowerment. The cover was created as a surprise celebration of her contributions and the importance of representation in media.
Salcedo and The TransLatin@ Coalition were also honored at the 1st Annual Diversity News Magazine Awards 2026 with the Transgender Advocacy & Community Empowerment Award.
