LOS ANGELES, CA - Remains found Thursday at a construction site in the southeast Los Angeles area turned out to be those of a cat, police said.
The discovery was made about 9:20 a.m. in the 1000 block of East 23rd Street, said Los Angeles police Officer Drake Madison.
Coroner's investigators and homicide detectives were sent to the scene and it was later determined they were feline remains.
