LOS ANGELES, CA — A funeral procession stretching more than 25 miles followed a celebration of life ceremony Thursday morning for slain rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was gunned down last month outside his clothing store. A memorial service for Hussle, whose legal name is Ermias Asghedom, began around 10 a.m. Thursday at the Staples Center. You can watch the event in its entirety on Patch.

The funeral procession began in downtown Los Angeles and ran through Inglewood, South Los Angeles and Watts.
Hussle, 33, was gunned down on March 31. The rapper's death comes after he was nominated for a Grammy award in 2018.
Thousands filled the Staples Center to for the celebration of life event. Stevie Wonder, Marsh Ambrosias, Anthony Hamilton and Jhene Aiko were among the performers.
Artists Snoop Dogg, Big Boy, DJ Mustard and YG were also be involved.
