Seal Beach School Flasher At Large: Sketch Released

Seal Beach Police are seeking a suspect who exposed himself to adolescent girls inside an Elementary School bathroom, Friday.

SEAL BEACH, CA — A flasher seen Friday inside a Seal Beach Elementary school is being sought by the Seal Beach Police Department, a spokesperson said. The police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying the man witnessed with his pants around his ankles in a McGaugh Elementary School bathroom on Friday at approximately 3:15 p.m.

"The adult Caucasian male was seen on the campus," Seal Beach Police Department Sgt. Mike Henderson said. "Two adolescent females saw the suspect standing inside a bathroom exposing his genitals."

The suspect had been seen a few minutes prior following the females and appeared to be pretending to talk on his cell phone. The suspect passed the females and entered a bathroom on campus. As the females passed by the bathroom, they saw the suspect standing inside the bathroom with his pants and underwear pulled down around to his knees, according to witnesses.

"The suspect did not say or do anything. The females immediately reported the incident to School Administration, who summoned the police. A search of the area was conducted for the suspect, but he was not located," Henderson said.

The suspect is described as a male, Caucasian, approximately 20-30 years old, approximately 5’ 9” tall, with medium build, brown or black hair. He was wearing a gray or green flannel shirt, black jeans and black Vans shoes. Seal Beach police released the sketch of the man suspected of the indecent exposure.
