Santa Clara County DA To Give State Of Office, Annual Awards - Today!

Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen today will give his annual State of the Office Speech and will preside over the Office’s Annual Awards.

The public event will be held on February 19 at 3:30 P.M. in the Isaac Newton Senter Auditorium at 70 W. Hedding St. in San Jose.

The awards are intended to recognize superlative work by the Office’s prosecutors, investigators, criminalists, paralegals, and support staff. Each year, the Office also recognizes a courageous crime victim.

This year’s award will be given to a sex assault victim whose brave efforts – years apart – helped make sure her attacker finally stopped hurting women.

The awards, named after prominent people who have left their mark on the Office over the years, include:

• Napoleon J. Menard Award for Felony Trial Advocacy
• Robert L. Webb Award for Misdemeanor Trial Advocacy
• Clayton L. Haupert Excellence Award for a Non-Trial Attorney
• Lowell W. Bradford Achievement of Excellence Award for Crime Lab Division
• Robert Drexel Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Investigations Unit
• Paralegal Excellence Award
• Legal Support Award of Excellence

Please join in to honor this brave crime victim and the District Attorney’s employees whose hard work, dedication, and talent have helped this Office serve the people of Santa Clara County.
