Anti-Sharia Demonstrators Hold Rallies Across the US: A lobbyist group with close ties to the Trump administration called ACT for America, organized nationwide marches this weekend to oppose Islamic law, which the group claims is a major threat to American society. Sadly for the ACT crowd, they were generally outnumbered 10 to 1 by counter-demonstrators.
Wow, I had no idea Sharia had such a stronghold here. Wonder if this means if I take someone to court, I now can choose between a State, Federal or Sharia Court? Its always nice to have choices. Funny, I even have a friend in Law School and he never mentioned it.
That said, I’ve been racking my brain trying to think of one state, county, city, town, village, municipality or even homeowner’s association here in the US that has enacted Sharia law and can’t seem to come up with anything. Guess that’s what happens when you let your subscription to Breitbart run out.

Anyway, not to be critical, but it just seems to me if you’re gonna protest against something, its probably a better idea to choose something that actually exists. I mean, let’s be honest here. Your demonstration isn’t having that much of an impact if your protest is actually smaller than the coffee line at the local Starbucks just across the street.
That said, the demonstrators say they want the public to be aware that Sharia law is opposed to both women’s rights and the LGBT community - which might be a credible argument if it weren’t coming from a crowd demanding all funds to Planned Parenthood be cut off and telling gays that their souls are going to burn forever in hell. Gee, if one didn’t know better, one might conclude that many of these ACT for America people aren’t really against religious law taking hold here in the US, just as long as its their particular religion. Just say’n.

On a positive note, if Sharia law ever does come here to the US, at least I’m a member of Amazon Prime - so I’m pretty sure I can get my copy of the Quran quickly with Amazon Prime’s free, one-day delivery. Life is good!
