GOP Platform Defines Porn as a Public Health Crisis: The Republican Party’s 2016 platform now includes a provision stating that pornography is a “public health crisis” and a “menace.”
Perhaps it is for Republicans. I wonder how many of these same Republican politicians would be willing to publicly share their browsing history? My question is, if porn is such a huge problem, then why do conservatives seem to have such a difficult time staying away from it?
Of course, skeptics would argue that the Republican Party fighting pornography is kind of like recruiting the Catholic Church to fight pedophilia. That said, with all the issues we face in the world today, its rather comforting to find organizations like the GOP who are willing to go out on a limb and try to solve problems that don’t even exist.
