Madeleine Albright, at 81, the first woman to become the United States Secretary of State (serving from 1997 to 2001) shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, this year she published yet another book, Fascism: A Warning. This, in addition to her current work as a professor of International Relations at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, and her post as a director on the board of the Council on Foreign Relations, among other prestigious positions.
Her honors and international recognition include the Presidential Medal of Freedom awarded by President Obama. All that may not surprise you, but this may: Madeleine prides herself on her physical fitness, stating in various interviews that she can leg-press 400 pounds. Go, Madeleine!
