Trump Blasted for National Anthem Performance: President Donald Trump is being mocked on social media after footage of him appearing to have difficulty singing our national anthem went viral during a college football game in Atlanta.
A White House spokesperson claims people have it all wrong - and that the President was simply doing his best impression of what it would look like had it been Milli Vanilli singing the National Anthem. White House press spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders was quick to add that the anthem was sung just like any stable genius would have sung it. Meanwhile, Fox and Friends said everyone needs to just “give the President a pass on this,” given that the President’s vocal coach was Rosanne Barr.
Now if it were me, I would have just faked it and sang the lyrics from the rock musical “Hair” - “Oh say can you see - mine eyes if you can, then my hair's too short!” Anyway - everything else aside, I believe all this confusion over the President’s lip-syncing not matching the words to our National Anthem has a very simple explanation - President Trump was actually singing the Russian national anthem.
