Trump Evangelical Guru Advises Forgoing Flu Shots for Prayer: Amid worst flu epidemic in over a decade, President Trump’s evangelical adviser Gloria Copeland is taking strong criticism after she put out a video advising people to skip getting flu shots and to instead “inoculate yourself with the word of God.”
Now, it seems everyone is so deeply concerned over the fact that this video has gone viral, which they say could put lots of people at risk. Well, of course a video about the flu is going to go “viral.” Come on people, just what the hell do you think the flu is? Personally, I’m not all the concerned about catching the flu - its her stupidity that I’m hoping isn’t contagious.
Anyway, in all fairness - its important to remember that it costs money for Mrs. Copeland to produce these valuable informational videos and, for a limited time only, if you send her all of your money - she’ll make sure you get an “official Kenneth Copeland Ministries Prayer Cloth.” My word, is this woman a saint or what? Now I’m starting to feel a bit guilty for praying that she gets the flu.
