Trump Tells Followers NFL Has Gone Soft Just Like the US

A satirical look at current events!

Trump Tells Followers NFL Has Gone Soft Just Like the US: Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump told a cheering Reno, Nevada audience that he doesn’t watch professional football anymore because the NFL has gone “soft” just like the US, mocking measures the league is taking to protect players against debilitating injuries such as brain concussions.

Now some cynics may ask how can a man who’s totally winded after riding in a golf cart for 18 holes call anyone soft? But let’s give the guy some credit, through it all, he still gets out there and bravely hits the links occasionally on weekends. That has to count for something. And frankly, Trump is a guy who knows a little about injuries. A bone spur on one of his heels allowed him to dodge the draft during the Vietnam War.

And in all fairness, I have to admit that I myself rarely watch many NFL games anymore since cutting the cord for cable a few years back, so I decided to check it out this past Sunday. And man, was I ever shocked to see how wimpy NFL football has become under eight years of having Democrats in the White House.

Good grief, these pansies were practically playing flag football! I couldn’t believe it, there were sissy mascots throwing tantrums on the sidelines, what appeared to be homosexual and transexual cheer leaders, as well as gay weddings being conducted mid-field in place of a halftime show.

After watching that, I can only conclude that Trump must be right. The NFL’s taking steps to curb life-long debilitating brain injuries is destroying America. Of course, I suppose the argument could be made that if there were no more brain injuries, there’d be no one left to vote for Trump.
