Felon Busted When Handgun is Found in His Car at Manhattan Beach Carwash
A felon, allegedly brought his car in for a cleaning but left a handgun on the floorboard, prompting attendants to call police.

A 40-year-old felon was arrested after a handgun was found in a vehicle he brought to a Manhattan Beach car wash, police reported today.
Officers were called to the car wash in the 2400 block of Sepulveda Boulevard on Saturday at 3:10 p.m. as the suspect, who was accompanied by a relative, was preparing to leave, said Officer Stephanie Martin of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
They searched the black Chevrolet Camaro and saw a loaded Sig Saur 9mm on the front floorboard. The gun was partially concealed under the driver’s seat, Martin said.

Jachon Jaques Ramseur of Victorville was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and false representation of his identity to a peace officer, and was also found to be wanted on a DUI arrest warrant, Martin said.
Bail was set at $260,000 for Ramseur, who’s also known by the name Jay Jadion Ramseur, Martin said.
