• 20-year-old McKinleyville man struck on Broadway last week dies (times-standard.com) — A 20-year-old McKinleyville resident, Ronnie Franklin, has died after being struck by an alleged drunk driver while working on Broadway in Eureka, and investigators are still reviewing potential charges. Fundraisers are helping his family with medical and other expenses as the CHP and Humboldt County District Attorney's Office continue their work on the case.
