2 Rescued After Vehicle Falls 100 Feet Down Hill In Marin County
People who called 911 said the vehicle exited Panoramic Highway and tumbled about 100 feet down a hill before stopping in a creek.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Two people were rescued over the weekend in Marin County after their vehicle veered off a highway and fell 100 feet down a hill and into a creek.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of a vehicle crash on Panoramic Highway near Edgewood Avenue and the Mountain Home Inn about 6:21 p.m. Saturday. People who called 911 said the vehicle exited the highway and tumbled about 100 feet down a hill before stopping in a creek.
Marin County firefighters and CHP crews, including a helicopter, responded to the crash, where they found two victims. Fire crews removed the victims after working in difficult conditions, according to CHP officials, and moved them back to Panoramic Highway.

A CHP helicopter waiting at Marin County Throckmorton Fire Station transported one of the victims, a 37-year-old woman, to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. She was treated for injuries that were considered serious, but not life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
