The Mill Valley Fire Department, in coordination with the Mill Valley Police Department, Southern Marin Fire Protection District, and the Marin County Hazamat Team, are working a hazardous materials spill near the pool at Tamalpias High School, 700 Miller Avenue.

The spill is contained to the building of orign, and authorities are asking that residents and students within .5 mile of Tamalpais High School shelter in place until otherwise notified. There are no road closures at this time, however, residents are encouraged to avoid the area.
