Marin Co. Crews Quell Fire At Apartment Building In Marin City
Firefighters quickly contained a blaze that damaged an apartment Sunday morning in Marin County, fire officials said.
MARIN CITY, CA — Firefighters quickly contained a blaze that damaged an apartment Sunday morning in Marin County, fire officials said.
The fire was reported about 9:20 a.m., when flames were spotted coming from an apartment window at 233 Drake Ave. in Marin City.
When crews arrived, they found the apartment locked and no one inside, a Marin County Fire Department spokesman said. Smoke was coming from the unit and the blaze went to a second alarm.

The fire was contained about 9:40 a.m. and no injuries were reported, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
